Title Sequence Vs Trailer

Title Sequence!

A title sequence is the beginning few minutes of a film/program which introduces the film and has "titles" to tell us who is in it, who the production team are, the production company and so on. When an audiences watches the title sequence it makes them ask questions about the film. it is almost like an introduction to the film, it sets the scene. The first video is an example of this.

Trailers!

A trailer is different to a title sequence. A trailer summarise the whole film and puts it into a 3 minute clip to show what the films about but without giving the story away. Normally, a trailer includes all the best bits of then film so that it makes the audience really want to see it. it almost leaves the audience a bit confused because the clips are not in order. This has a positive affect on the audience because it makes them want to see it so they understand. The second video is an example of this.
